Reston Community Center

Lake Anne Plaza is home to the Reston Community Center's North Reston facility. 

The mission of the Reston Community Center is to create positive leisure experiences which enhance the quality of life for all people living and working in greater Reston by:

  • Providing a broad range of programs in arts, aquatics, enrichment and life-long learning
  • Creating and sustaining community traditions through special events, outreach activities, and facility rentals.

Each year RCC offers more than 1,800 programs, trips, events, and services to the residents of Small District 5 at greatly subsidized rates.

The Lake Anne facility houses the ceramics studio and the Jo Ann Rose art gallery, as well as several meeting rooms where fitness programs and other events take place.

What's happening at the plaza

The Markets are open and before you know it the Take A Break Concerts will be kick starting the weekend with their Thursday night respite. The open air markets are enormous this year, between the Farmers and the Crafters there are about 80 Vendors! So there’s a lot to do and see and enjoy as we move into Spring and begin to slide into Summer. Watch for the arrival of the boats on May 21! Come out for a paddle!
